825i Snorkel

I have had my 825i for about 3 weeks now and it is one awesome machine. I use mine for a lot of hunting especially duck hunting. Where I hunt is fairly deep water(6-12 inches of water). What I am wanting is to put a snorkel on this like the mud racers. I probably will not ever need it but just in case I would like to have one. Has anyone ever done this?

If you go deeper than it can go stock it would submerge the battery and if you have ever seen a submerged motor electrical system still connected to the battery you would not do it, especially salt water. Also, the 825i has an alternator unlike sport bike type engines with an internal stator/charging coil, not sure how well that would like it under water. I am not sure how "sealed" the belt housing is and the ouput is an irregular shape making it difficult to extend. Anything is possible but I see alot of work involved.
