Hey all.
I currenty own a 850D and really like it. Only thing I have a problem with is no clutch enclosure.
So, I have decided to up gade. Trouble is I'm agonizing on wether to go with the 825i or stick with the diesel. Like I said I really like my diesel.
Don't really have to have the speed of the 825i but like it's getup and go. Also like the digital dash board. I'm up for comments and sugestions from you guys who own the machines or anybody else knowledgable in them.
Thanks.

I upgraded from a TS 4x2 to 825i and can say the 825i is amazing in regards to its awesome power. The 825i top speed is not that important to me, but the hauling and towing capability delivered by the 50hp engine as well as the 4x4 go anywhere (Ancla Extreme Terrains) capability certainly validated my decision.
I'm a big fan of the diesels, but read a review that pointed out that JD needed to cap the diesel HP to avoid additional emission control cost considerations due to EPA emission restrictions (greater than 25hp). Quoting the article: "The Gator XUV 855D has 25 horsepower, which is the most horsepower a diesel UTV can put out before it is subject to EPA emission standards and restrictions, that would require the addition of emission controls, which would not only add more weight to the machine, but it would also increase the price."
Anyway, at the end of the day, I think you will not be disappointed with the 855D or 825i. Did you see the 855D video posted by the mod? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FX0Pc3rYegg
Good luck in your decision.

Thanks lager1829 and gatorxuv620i.
The hauling and towing capability that I have now with my 850D is what I'm worried I could loose with the gas engine.

I just traded my 850D for a new 825I. I loved my 850 except for the diesel smell when plowing snow and spraying soybeans. I never had a problem with it.
The smell was the biggest factor. I was going to try the 620I but I was told that it would be a big step back in power. Decided on the 825I and am cetainly glad I did. Great power, bed, tail lights and dash are great. I got the big wheeels and bighorns and camo paint, hyd angle plow, roof and windshield. I love this combo so far. Was not looking to go faster, but it is a bonus.
I don't think that you will be disapointed.

The new 855D clutch is enclosed. And if you decide on the 825I get the extended 3 yr warranty for only $250.00, a no brainer

ya forgot about that extra warranty!!! Dont forget it!!! Then it is a no brainer like GATORDONE said. Its got more power, comparable towing and capacities, better looks (my opinion), faster top speed..... did I mention it will haul a**. lol yes I test drove one and that would be my choice. Big difference in the 825i and our 620i. No comparision at all. But not again without that extra warranty!!!!
