rear lift kit?

what's up fellas? anyone built a rear for the rear? i built one today, paint still drying , will get some pics up when done and explain how i did it! anyone else left rear? pics?

as you can see i basically built a old atv bracket lift, i used cardboard to make a template, traced it out 4 times on a piece of mild steel painted it and bolted it on! guessing about 1.5 inch center to center bolt hole is plenty, more then that will have the axles ready to pop out or break a cup! hope this helps

Did you just lift the rear end?
I put a 2 inch lift on the front of my 850D just to level it out.

it does look a lil high in the rear but i mounted some seats in the rear, a toolbox and a low profile icechest, i built the lift for passengers extra weight. with all that the control arms set flat before the lift. i bottomed out alot. we trail ride every weekend here so i needed a lil extra ump. and i made my self look stupid. i have a 825i. thought it was 2010 but joe knows! lol. how you lift the 825 front?

Hey, chiming in here, I got a 08 620i XUV and I put a 1" lift on the front of the gator to level it up. Turned out real nice, you would be supprised what 1 inch will do!!! lol Check it out under the XUV forum XUV lift kit installation. WOEII Put one on the front of his as well. I used a 1" spacer that slides into the front hub and raises the strut an inch higher. Very simple, cheap, and easy to do. :Thmup:

Excellent idea, I am having trouble with the bottoming out thing also with a heavy load. I may have to give this a try.
