Just the other day I changed my initial break in oil. Job went smoothly and was proud that I save a few dollars by doing it myself. While under there I wiped all the dust off and admired her curves. Went to move the machine last evening and I found a small amount of oil on the garage floor, directly under the engine. My heart sank, thinking I screwed something up. Off came the access panel and I checked her over for about 20 minutes. Come to find out it was residual oil that had flowed onto the lower skid plate then dripped out the drain hole. No doubt from the oil filter oil draining down the side of the engine. Wiped everything down, checked filter and plug, all is well as is the oil level.
