Three weeks ago I ordered a special built all aluminum trailer just for hauling the Gator around. Standard V nose enclosed trailers have 71" or 73" inside clearance, not enough for the 75" Gator. When wanting to extend the height I had to go with a 13" increase, guess that is the way the jigs are setup. Anyways, it's a duel axle, all aluminum, 16" on center framing, inside wall mounted spare, 24" stone guard, upper and lower nose cabinets, transitional ramp, rear jacks and four 5,000 pound tie downs. Gator fits in like a glove! http://i854.photobucket.com/albums/ab101/Deputy347k9/Trailer/April2020116.jpg

Okay,
How do you get out of the Gator once you pull it in? BTW that is a Kick @$$ toy hauler!

There is just enough room for me to get my fat tail out. Great room front and rear, side would be fine for a normal sized man. Going to paint the inside and dress her up a bit. Not sure what I am going to do with the outside yet?

Mine is for hauling my Harley. I would have loved to got something like yours but $6k is just a little rich for my blood. I got this Car Carrier the other day for $1750. Like new but gently used for $600 off. I snagged it quick.

Yeah the Cummins. But sorry Atomatic. I've driven standards my whole life. I was ready for the Automatic. She's Chipped with a Cold Air Intake and the Cat has ben circumcised. Strait pipe all the way out! loud and proud!

That is a good price on that car hauler as it really looks new! I could have reduced the cost of the trailer if I didn't want the upper and lower cabinets and had gone with a steel frame and walls. I went aluminium for weight reduction as well as ZERO rust. If I ever sold it I think I would get more of my money back being it's aluminum.
This morning I am going to the town hall to register the trailer then to Yankee Customs to have the Denali wired for the braking system. I guess the wires are all there they just have to match them up to a controller.
Then, I have to think of what I want on the outside to break up all the black, any ideas?
Inside I am going to paint the floor light non skid gray and the walls, have not decided the color yet, might go white?
I am open for suggestions! Maybe some custom vinal graphics for the outside. Being a retired Marine that spent many years in aviation I am thinking along that line, I don't know what to hell I am thinking!

I'm thinking you need to put some steps under that door on the second floor...:hdscrh:

You must have spotted the milk crate below the door! You are correct though as I do need a set of steps. I am going to look on flea bay and see if anyone has some decent aluminum steps that I can install. Just made my appointment for the Denali to be wired with a brake controller. Yankee Customs is going to do it come next Monday at 1100 hours. Top of the line controller for $78.00 and $45.00 for install.
Now I got to surf around and look for vinal graphics. Maybe hot pink!!!!!

I left the outside of my trailer plain. Two reasons. First, I like the clean look. I usually de-badge everything. The second is, I figured if I put HD logos on the trailer that just says "break into me." I was wanting to put the black and white checker board on my floor and white walls. Kind of a Racing scheme. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Yep, they don't break in and take the bike. They just take the trailer and all. I was going to recommend the Gator graphic like they are putting on these things. The actual Gator till I had the same thought as Jonny. Maybe some cute flowers on the outside.:Jestr:

My Riding Buddy said I should put Pom Pom and Cheer Girl Graphics on the outside. Who would break into a trailer like that. I said maybe "Venomous Creature Show" That would do it huh?

Last evening I finished painting the inside of the trailer, walls two coats of white, floor and ramp two coats of non slip light gray. I have got to order a nice rack for oil as well as a set of steps that I can have welded on, fold away type. Last week I had the brake controller installed in the Denali so that task is completed. I did attach one pictue to the wall, a picture of my 54 Chevrolet. Heck I could just about live in this thing now, if the wife would deliver meals!

The clearance was a problem I had when ordering my all aluminum trailer. Not sure why, but the company that builds them had to increase the height by 13 inches, must be due to the way they have thier gigs setup. As I stated in an earlier post I also had them build custom cabinets, upper and ower, at the V nose. So glad I did. This coming Friday I am going to take it back to the factory where they will install the fold away aluminum steps. Trying to save a buck I did not order them during the build figuring I could purchase a set and weld them on, wrong! So I will drive 2.5 hours north to get it done properly. I painted the inside walls and floor and added an oil cabinet on one wall. I am so happy with the trailer, hauls really great though I have only gone about 2 miles with it. Friday will be the test. Did you order any extras with your trailer?

Last Friday I drove to Winslow Maine where my new V nose trailer was built. Factory was kind enough to install steps and another 5K pound tie down. Cost me more in gas to get there as they only charged me &69.00 for the steps and tie down. They welded in more aluminum braces underneat for the tie down. I was happy. Looked at their factory, holy cat's ass, they have 11 assembly lines. 9 hours to buiild any enclosed trailer regardless of length! In an earlier picture you could see the walls were completed and cabinets, now I wanted the roof finished. So, I purchased 4 sheets of thin plywood and installed that over the last 5 dakys of rain! Just came in from putting on the second coat of white. Only have one small piece of trim to complete tomorrow morning and apply second coat of paint to the trim and she is done! I installed a real nice aluminum wall cabinet for oil and filter sotrage. I will post some pics when completed and it is not raining! Needs to stop as we are so far behind in planting.

Thank you my friend, raining harder today then yesterday. I am so tired of rain, rain and more rain. This morning I did install the last piece of crown molding. Now all I need is the final coat of paint on the trim. With all this rain I found a leak! A few drips hear and there coming from the upper cabinet. With a ladder I checked the roof which is a one piece aluminum roof. However, where the roof joins the sides someone forgot to apply the special aluminum caulking to a section of about 3 feet, must have been lunch break and they forgot on return. I purchased the material but again must wait for the rain to end.

Didn't realize the camera was on black and white. Started to rain again so I said to hell with it for now. The floor has three coats of a light gray with sand in the paint, non slip. Walls, ceiling and trim is two coats of white. I added the cabinet by the front door, the lid where the paper towels are comes down and there is six quarts of oil there, filters and oil above. Added a fire extingquisher and a picture of my 54 Chevy truck. Installing the ceiling was not difficult but a time consuming when your doing it alone. She is now reay to haul! Going to purchase a "Boot" so when I park the vehicle and trialer at remote sites I can add the boot to the trailer so too slow down any theif.
