Very impressive! Considering where you ride I can't belive you don't have a winch! Great sound! Looks like a Naval Aviation leather jacket?

Your pics cost me $700.... I had settled on black steel rims until I saw how good silver alloy looks on olive/black  I may have to opt for the high dollar wheels and tires. :BG:

Welcome to the forum Brian! :Chers:

Ya man....I just called and spoke with the owner of allterrain. He said it was a typo and is fixing it now. Your XUV 850D is ok for the lift kit. :Chers:

Just used a once inch lift. It's like a steel one inch thick O ring. :Chers:

are there still deals to be found on the silver alloy wheels ? I have the black alloy wheels and would rather buy a spare black wheel & tire but thinking before I start doing some deep back woods trails, I would like to have a spare tire along just in case.

Thanks

Dan

Yep, but singles are hard to find but you can prolly pic up a whole set for the price of a single.
Post up a pic of yours. Them black alloys are sharp and pretty rare!

Super Sano! I like the graphics too! threw me for a loop, I was like "wth did those come from" :)
And agree- Black Alloys do look awesome! and the 850 needs a nose lift. I have a trade in that's cleaner than factory new O/B and compared to the 825 it's a real sagger.

WOEII,

Great looking machine! I love the graphics you put on. It really looks sharp!

Thanks for the video of the sterio system. I was wondering what they actaully looked like installed and sounded like. Wish list for me...

Question - What is that little mesh like tool caddie you have in the front of the bed on the driver side (saw it in the video)? Looks very useful. I was wondering what to do to get some tools in my Gator. I love the full size tool box, but I need the bed space. I was trying to think how I could bolt down some sort of small size tool box somewhere... I don't want it bouncing around.

Again, great looking (and sounding!) ride.

Since these pics I added a black carbon fiber hood to her and a standup tire in the bed. Real sharp. Will take pics when I get to NY soil again.

That black mesh I bought at a garage sale for $3.00. :BG: Think it went to a Chevy Suburbon. My friends and I do hardcore trail navigation, making and rock crawling. That mesh helps with blow back of limbs in both directions.

That little bag is something like this.

Your local JD dealership should have them with the deere logo and all for about $25.00. I got mine new at a garage sale for $5.00. :BG:
The bottom has a compartment I got 3 bar towels stashed so if camping I can wash her down some by a river.
Got a mini first aid kit stashed in the middle of it with tons of odd tools for the unexpected in and around the outside. Tons of pockets. Also got extra fuses stored in it as well as the over head pocket stasher. :hehe:
The diamond plate tool box on the back has 3 army shovels, massive comealong, extra lugnuts bolts, lug wrench, plug in tire inflater and a section for samitches and drinks. :BG:

WOE II...you sound like me when it comes to stashing stuff for those "just in case" moments...I always remember that the people on "Gilligans Island" were only on a 3 hour tour...hahaha!!!...I have a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, tools, shovel, and plenty of spare parts like fuses, and nuts and bolts, Gorilla tape, wire ties, bungee straps, and a toolbox full of other stuff...winch accessory kit, flashlights, gloves, and safety glasses occupy more space...I'm almost at the point where I think I might have to buy a Poly Cart to pull behind my Gator just to haul all the extra stuff i'm hauling around...it's kinda ridiculous actually, but you'll never catch me out somewhere needing something I don't have!!!

The fun part, like alot of things like that is the gathering up and organizing it all...kinda like researching an item you intend on buying at some point...it's fun to me doing the research and hunting for the best deal, but then after it's bought, and in my hands, it's almost a let-down because the fun part is all done...for me, that just means I start looking for the next cool thing to research and hunt for....

You sure do have a sweet and "clean" looking Gator...you did a great job on it, and I know I'd be very proud of it!!!....I can't wait to see the CF Hood and the other stuff you've done to it...

Take care, and enjoy the weather down in FL...it's actually been VERY warm here in Maryland...63 degree's yesterday, and today is in the mid 50's...that's pretty sweet for January!!!...I guess that just means when it does get cold, it's gonna hurt twice as bad!!!...hahaha!!!

Do you mean just the thread size is different or that it won't even fit on the shifter itself???....if it's just a different thread, I used a regular old nutsert to downsize the skull shift knob that I am using, along, with a 6 inch shifter extension...

I'm not sure what is wrong with your billet knob as to why it won't fit, so you'll have to explain a bit further...

If I remember right it just slips on and they you put 2 allen screws in and that tightens it to the post.

More intel and possible pics needed. :BG:
