Brakes

Is it just me or anyone else have to use both feet to stop the 825i?

I thought the same thing at first, the brakes were pretty spongy. I did a bunch of break in stops thinking that the pads just needed to be wore in a bit. It stops much better now.

Yeah, I was hoping that is what I would hear. I have being putting lights, horns, building rear bumper in my free time and really haven't drove it much. I will haul it to the farm this weekend and see if I can get them "broken in".

I noticed the same thing! I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the lack of braking ability! I guess I need to "break" it in and see if that makes a difference, I only have 5 miles on it!

You have to do what Deere calls "burnishing the brakes", I took mine to the timber and went down some good slopes and it didn't take long before i could tell the difference. Just be carefull that you don't get the brakes to hot or they will glaze over and ruin the pads.

yep that is one thing i really dont like bout the 825

No, but mine squeels like a little girl going down hill. I figure it's the belt. I was hoping it would stop once the belt and pullies get broke in.
