Gator HPX Bed Lift

Has anyone built a custom bed lift for the HPX? The $900 for the factory lift is too steep. I'm looking into an air tank with 2 cylinders to somehow fab in.

Yea, I have a buddy that works for a pneumatic company and he is coming up with 2 cylinders. It will be a trial and error type of thing over some beers trying to figure out how to make them act right. He has access to parts from mild to wild, so finding the perfect setup will take a little time. I already found the tank I'm going to use from an old mini-truck airbag setup. It fits perfectly on the drivers side behind the diesal tank on the frame. When we get it figured out I will post pics and how we did it.
