I plow snow and i am wondering what is a good brand. I see a lot o cheaply made ones out there, and do i want a 60 or 72in. thanks

boss v plows being put on by dealer up here in wi appears to be heavy on front end

+1 for the Boss v plows! I think if you set the shocks stiffer you will be fine.

I've got Boss V on my 855D It's awesome and works great!

man she looks great. does it feel like alot of weight up on front? or no? and how is the belt drive holding up so far ?

No I didn't feel the weight while driving and she tracked real well. No problems with the belt drive or anything else. Hauled 22 ton of lime this spring loved the dump box. However shes not shinny new anymore!!

i was quoted around $3700 for the boss, does that sound bout right?

that sounds about right. Is installation included? If so then that seems pretty good.

heopopster, throw some pledge or a good wax on the plow and the snow will slide right off!

Asking price $3400 but bought it with the Gator as package I think he discounted it some

bought the boss v plow without the easy hitch option and paid $3300 with dealer install but i had to pay $130 for the three shoes not knowing i'd only need the two outside ones, plow is definatly heavy i think maybe a little to much for gator when pushing snow with blade angled it actually pushes machine away from the snow and when plow is in the up position it definatly make steering harder but maybe im plowing to much of a road too who knows. good luck makin decision if you didnt make one alreay
