Took the Gator out on a 40 mile ride this weekend. She performed perfectly and went everywhere I wanted her to go! The smooth ride is awesome and better than that of the
'11 Ranger I must say and you don't have to listen to the clanking of the drive shaft the whole time. Also, with the Ranger, I had a constant exhaust and fuel smell. Not with the Gator! John Deere has it figured out with the driveshaft and ride and 3 cyl engine. Now if they will just put a bigger seat and tilt steering! And oh yeah, the Gators fair well in a hail storm!:OhNoes:

Good job MossyOak. I haven't had any "real" fun with mine yet. I have only loaded her up with posts, wire, and tools and put her to work. One of these days she will get to go have some fun. lol

I just took delivery of my 825i Gator and the front drive shaft is making a nosie under the cup holder.
I took it back to my dealer and they replaced the drive shaft with a new bearing.
When I took it home and first drove it no noise.
After 11 miles the noise is back.
Help Please.

That really sucks. Pretty embarrassing for JD, that they haven't fixed this, apparently common, problem long ago. With two 825i on the way to me, I'll can probably look forward to the same trouble, and with no warranty, that's just great.
Can anyone explain exactly, what has happened to those front drive shafts and bearings, that has been replaced? Any pics of the parts in question?
Thanks.
