i hunt with some guys who have rangers and have noticed when they put somewhat of a load on it they loose all of there ground clearance and there axles go the other way. i know that thats how most irs wheelers do but how bad does the 825 gator do this and if so how much weight does it take to do so.if any of you guys have had both bikes how do they compare? please be honest?

The Gator has adjustable coil over shock like most motorcycles. I run mine at about half their adjustment range for comfort. It came with the tool to adjust. I haven't really needed to load it up but have carried posts, tools, wire and stuff and didn't notice it being lowered. I would recommend IF you know you are going to carry a heavy load, bump the adjusters up (down actually) for better support just like on a motorcycle. With the added load it will still ride nicely.
