Tore the outside rear boot how hard are they to replace? Should I have JD do it machine is brand new. Where is the best place to get rear CV Boot Protector?

The ujoint has to be dissasembled from housing to replace boot,better off having dealer do it.Deere offers both front and rear cv boot protectors.

If I were you the plate protectors would be installed beneath all four CVC joints. The dealer cost of $200.00 for all four will same you money in the long run, especiall if your riding hard.
