825 load hauling ???

Have had a 620 great machine!! New 825 on order, how does the 825 handle a load of 700 to 800 lbs? My 620 was pretty slugish when hauling loads especially on hills.

I have not hauled 700+ pounds as of yet but would not be afraid to do it! I did have 10 bags of cement in the bed that I needed to haul into the back 40, no problem what so ever. What in God's name are you going to be hauling? Maybe you need a tractor also!

I made a dump run on Saturday. I had a dual axle trailer on the Gator loaded with concrete pieces, old scrap lumber, 40 or so sheets of tin, and some other stuff. I had to pull it around to get it hooked on the truck and the Gator had no problem pulling it in high range. It did squat the Gator a bit though. My trailer is 6x12 with dual axle and I had well over a 1000 pounds on it. Now, I wasn't hauling butt or going up hill but the Gator did not hesitate to pull it around my yard. Now granted I had most all the weight right on top of the trailer axles.

The dump said I weighed 10620 and I am pretty sure my truck weighs in at around 7000 pounds. We can do the math from there.

That is a strong load! Like anything else, the Gator is a work horse, however, you don't need to rush it!

Deputy, Have several JD tractors we farm bottom land in MO, the gators are used to haul sand bags on the levee systems during flood events. Its doesnt take many bags filled with sand to have 700 to 800 lbs. Thanks for the info sounds like the 825 should handle it OK
