I have the factory 2011 stock black painted rims and tires. I was wondering if anyone had purchased anything in the aftermarket for wheels/tires yet? One thing that gave me pause when considering the JD polished rims was that they used a larger tire 2" and rim 1", hence more ground clearance. Considering aftermarket for that reason, without installing a lift kit.

Pretty slim picking on 14" wheels. I've been looking for MSA M12 diesel wheels for the gator but they don't seem to be available in the proper lug pattern. From what I've found, an adapter to convert to a 4 lug bolt pattern would need to be used. This moves the wheels out farther and puts more stress on the bearings as well as slinging more mud at the cab occupants. I have seen a couple of places that have 14" gator wheels, if I can find the sites again, I'll post.
Best,
Steve

Was wondering the same. When I looked into fitting rear tire/wheel onto front ran into rim offset issue. There is very little clearance between the inside of the tires and the steering/ upper A arm ball joint. Wondering if any aftermarket wheels will be constructed specifically for the Gator otherwise I'm going to wind up with two sets of tires and rims muself, one set for work and one for trails.

Still looking for aftermarket r14" rims that are 9" wide in front and 11" wide in rear to go with some 27" tall tires.. .

srb08, thank you. I checked out wiedmannbros rims, I like they are specific to JD and have pics of them fitting XUV's...One thing I did not like was that they were 14"x8, I wanted to go with the 9" and 11" front rear stagger that the factory 14" came in...

On http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/ I found some tires that would fit the JD polished aluminum 14" rims. Thing is I don't want the polished AL stock rims, I have the Steel 12" Ancala and would like to go to something taller for more ground clearance. I am worried about the backspacing issue etc, as anyone who knows who has ordered aftermarket rims in the past, you really need to consider backspacing, clearance, rub while turning, etc. Here are the 27" tires I found for the JD 14" rims in 9 and 11 width...

ITP 589 M/S ATV Tire 27x9-14 Part # 1054240016 $127.99
ITP 589 M/S ATV Tire 27x11-14 Part # 1054240017 $134.99

STI Mud Trax ATV Tire 27x9-14 Part # 1276680007 $87.99
STI Mud Trax ATV Tire 27x11-14 Part # 1276680008 $96.99

If anyone knows of some sweet looking 14" tall 9/11 wide rims for JD's post them up... And thanks

Can use 15 inch wheels lot more possibilities 5x 4.5 get wheel spacers from motorsport adapters & spacers they make them for the 825I gator have them put 1/2 inch studs . you could use like a 235/70/15 whith mods or a 235/75/15 with mods done to the front.
