I have been waiting all this time to see what changes are made to the 2012 825i. Today however I went down to the nearest dealer to drive the demo 2011 model they have on the lot. Now I am awaiting a quote on one that I built on the website.
I don't really think power steering is necessary on it. Steered quite easily. quite comfortable for me and I was very impressed with the sound and handling.
So, I guess I waited all this time for nothing.....I may be ordering one before the end of the week!

Glad to hear you really enjoyed the ride. I have had my new 825i for a couple of months now and really love the machine. Of course I have added a bunch of things to it, like everyone else! Enjoy and good luck.

I think the 825i is a great machine. I ordered it with lots of xtras and added more, same situation as Deputy. Although I have read a lot of posts where members would like to have power steering and a tilt wheel available, I find it very comfortable, as is. I like an adjustable steering wheel in my car but for me, the Gator is OK without it and although more leg (foot) room would be nice, that's OK also. Even if they make changes in 2012, I don't see how you could go wrong with the 2011, Great machine.

I drove an 825 briefly today. I was mostly interested in seeing how well it turned. The sales rep had me gun it and take it off road. He told me to take it over the curb and he told me that I could hit it faster than I thought. Barely even felt it go over the curb. I never went out of 2wd and it never hesitated to grab. I was impressed.

That was the type of test drive I took. Also told me to just go over the logs. :BG:Hooked me right then and I bought it. Have not looked back and enjoying it ever since. No regrets!
