I use this grease around the ranch on just about everything, is there any reason why I shouldn't use it on the Gator suspension points rather than the two recommended types as suggested in the operators manual? I've used this type on my JD990 for years and other suspension points on other vehicles.

It may be something with the rubber bushings that would prevent you from using Molybdenum disulfide grease. I think lithium based grease is less corrosive. I could be wrong though.

The JD Moly is lithium based so shouldn't be an issue. I was just wondering why JD only recommends the two listed in the owners manual. I've got a dozen Moly tubes so I'm using it untill further notice unless someone can give me a good reason why not.
