I ordered a Billet shif knob for my 825iGator from my local John Deere dealer and I just picked it up.
I does not fit so I called Dragonfire, the company that made it.
They told me that the Billit I ordered (part number LP001) will not fit the 825i Gators. On the package it states the the Billet fits 2010 and later model years.
Dragonfire told me they are waiting for Deere to aprove there new Billet that will fit the 825i Gators.
Back to my dealer to return it.

I have an 8 ball for a press handle. If I could get someone to drill and thread it, I'd go with one of these. Otherwise the stock knob is good enough for me.

I wonder if you could drill it and put a Heli-coil in it?

The one on my press is drilled and tapped right to the size of the handle. I'm just afraid that if I spend $20 on a ball, I'll screw it up. I haven't looked at the gator shift rod yet. I'm guessing it's a 5/16 or 3/8 thread.

I popped the top off of the stock knob and it appears to be 3/8. I like the stock knob so I plan to leave it be.

I ordered one and it would not fit over the shifter. I used a dremel tool to grind off a little of the front edge and the shifter and the knob slid over it and fit fine.

Do they make one for the differential lock? Have not seen one. Do you have a part number or link.
Thanks
