I am still debating on which gun boot mount to buy from JD. Does anybody have the double gun boot mount that John Deere sells that attaches to the OPS over the cargo box? It is the one that all the pictures show as right above the toolbox attaching to the rollbar. My question is, how do you like it, does it get in the way of visibility and can you still get into your toolbox if you have or were to have a JD toolbox?
Thanks.

I too have some questions about the bed mounted gun boot system. Does anyone have it? Any better place to get it than from JD? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, gun season is right around the corner.

Kolpin makes it for J.D., Go to kolpin website and they have better pictures of it .

Koplin website: http://www.kolpinpowersports.com/products/dirtworks-series/atv-3-point-system.html?vmcchk=1
Note: If an Error Message appears on their home page as it does on mine, disregard it, the website work fine.

I ended up buying the double gun boot mount that mounts in the bed. It is only sold by JD, according to Koplin. They said the ones they have on their website will work for the JD, but you want the one that is sold by JD specifically as it has the brackets that quickly attach to the tubular rail in the cargo box (like the windshield clamps). They said if you buy any other in cargo box brackets they have to be drilled into the bed. I already had the Gun Boot 6.0 so I called Koplin and they were willing to just sell me the brackets for the gator (around $85 + shipping) and then I bought an additional Gun Boot 6.0 for about $75. I really like having it mounted in the bed versus on the OPS roll bar as it does not take up visibility.

Awesome, thank you all! I don't want to drill anything into the bed so I guess I'm off to the dealership to get my early christmas present to myself. Thanks again.

Take a look at these. I mounted mine up under the roof. Fit like a glove

Which one did you order for your JD 825i? How much was it? And, as you said you mounted it up under the roof, did you need to drill holes in your roof? If possible, can you put two rifles in it and take a picture? Thanks! I have the cargo box mounted double gun boot, but I think I also want the under roof mount like this company's to have quicker access to the rifles.

I mounted mine on the ops cage cross bar bracket. There is a flat spot that worked great. It cost a little under $100

You can also get the Big Sky Rack through Cabela's $99 for single gun and $119 for double gun.

906I use these from Kolpin for both holding tools and guns. One on each side rail. I started last night making a vertical mount for my Stealth Gator (Golf Cart). lol All I got done was to cut out the bottom plate last night.

I have the kolpin double gun mount that attaches to the bar that rides across the ops cage. It works really well and still allows the bed to dump. My only issue is that it blocks my backward facing lights on my John deere poly roof. My way around this is to rotate the position of the gun boots so they ride In a slight "X" configuration to let my light shine (easy to do since they adjust).
