Slipping drive belt on 825i

I sprayed off pollen from my Gator with a garden hose and now the drive belt seems to slip. Is there something I should do other than give it time to dry out?
I took the air intake hose off and only found light moisture and no water standing below. I know very little water could have gotten in.
I had it back home when I sprayed it off so I haven't ridden it any since washing.
Your advice would be appreciated.

If the belt is slipping from a little water start it up and run it like you stole it, the belt should dry quickly and quit slipping if it doesnt you may have another problem!

Ran it like you said and you were right. Back to normal in no time. I just panicked.
