Jim, I see this is your first post, welcome aboard. Looks like you want a pretty specific Gator 825i, as you know this is a new model and finding someone who wants to sell one is probably going to be hard to find here as we love our 825i's and haven't seen many for sale, but who knows what will happen tomorrow.

Jim there is a 2010 825i on ebay right now. I know it has the electric lift and a soft top. It also has the big horn wheels and tires and the front cargo box. Check it out

I do not believe there is a 2010 825i anywhere. All new 825i's are supposed to be 2011 models. AM I WRONG? I bot one of the first on the street.

First, you must demand the MCO. Manufacturers' Certificate of Origin. Even with that in hand, I would contact John Deere credit and see if the machine is paid or there is an encumbrance. 2011 Gator's have a built in odometer and hour meter on the dash. Look at tire tread wear. Look for obvious damage. Compare the price new against the asking price for a used GATOR and make a value judgement for risk. A one year warranty is standard with an upgradable one or two year JD warranty.
To me the new GATOR is similar to an over the road vehicle like a jeep. Pretty sturdy. I would stay clear of any machines in "salt water" country.
Hope this helps. Others can chime in.
