View Full Version : Camo soft top

Anyone else notice that the camo soft top, and camo rear screen do not match the Gator camo. The soft material is a brownish camo, while the actual Gator camo is more greenish.

Anyone have the soft top and soft rear screen ? If so and they fit good could you post a picture or 2 of how they match up where they meet and overlap along the top ? I can't seem to get them to work together.

It's not easy getting old, but better than the alternative !:lol:

I don't have the Camo Top, but do have the JD black one as my Gator is Green and Yellow. Top fits great, it stretches out to a firm fit and I've tested it in the woods and the tree branches have not damaged it. I'm sure there is a point where it could be damaged, but so far it's held up for me, the material is tough. Make sure you stretch the top tight when putting the Velcro on the post and measure to get it equal distance on all sides, you want the top to be tight when hooking it to the velcro, my top stays tight and I have only had to re-tighten the straps once. Sorry I don't have the rear screen, but I have found that all JD accessories fit without problems, but them I don't have the rear screen either.

Thanks trainman, I have the top and although the colors don't match, it fits great and I agree seems to be strong as branches have not damaged it mine either. I did add the rear screen and I am having some difficulty where the top and screen meet, it seems like the material wants to overlap but no way for the straps to overlap.

Must be the luck of the Irish, I ordered the tail light protectors and there is no way I can get them to fit they way I think they should. When the Gator goes in for service I'll have the dealer install them.

I also bought the soft camo (brown) top. Didnt know it was different color til got home, (wish the gator was same as top color). I nstalled it and also added 5 snaps to snap it to the back screen. Works great, but i am fixing to order aluminum hard top so i can install stereo console to it.
