That might be the best looking gator I've seen. How is the ride with the tracks? Do you have to run in low range or will the CVT handle the load in high? Looking forward to a report after you have lived with her for a while.

The unit has more than enough power to run the tracks in high range. (You do see a speed decrease as camoplast does gear reduce at about 55KM/H) fast enough in my opinion! took the tracks off and placed the new alloys with the bighorns on it to test in mud. Ive yet to put the thing in low range or 4x4
The only thing that I think could be improved is the noise inside the cab when driving. (With the deluxe cab installed you can hear every vibration, and loud engine noise. Im going to add a stereo to it do drown out the noise)
Ive added a electric circ pump heater to the cooling line (Lowest point is required) so now I can plug it in this winter and avoid cold starts.
Not sure you need a heater kit installed with the deluxe cab as it does pick up heat inside!!! should be more than enough for the winter driving but I will post what I find if anything I think an A/C kit will be something I look at creating for this machine
Next to upgrade will be the lighting. don't get me wrong the lights stock are better than my quad was but I've got 75amps to play with now!!!!!!
Oh and I love the HYD options you can get (Blade, Box this is a must if your going to buy)

Have ordered a 825i with full cap, so I'm a bit worried about this - can I ask if yours came with the Quiet Cap Kit?
Thanks.

Yes I got the quiet cab kit but trust me ITS LOUD!
YOU PAY 5K FOR THE CAB you would expect a nice quest ride. Im not going to complain Ill fix it myself and I love my gator! it turns heads!!

For the amount they charge, thats what I expected too - pretty annoying it's that bad. Please share, if you find a good way to minimize it.

OH AND JUST AN FYI IF YOUR GOING TO USE TRACKS
I know on mine when you use the HYD dump the rear protection bumpers will drive into the tracks. on the front if you turn to sharp with the tracks you will notice the tracks will rub on the front protection package Had I known this (I would have still bought it lol) simple fix is to easily remove the bars (take less than 2 mins a side) and run the tracks like that. run the bars when you have the tires installed.

Alright so I now have 1200KM on this unit and have yet to be disapointed. there has been a few minor issues but no major show stoppers
1. If buying the unit with tracks and Plow keep in mind that you cant turn the blade you will need to keep with straight or the tracks will hit the blade when turning. I modified by cutting and adding 10" to the length of the blade. doing this I had to beef it up and plate it in adding extra weight but now I have no issues and have full travel for turning the blade (JD should have thought of this when trying to sell tracks to us Canadians!!!)
2. If running the unit in rain, snow etc and then parking in a warm Garage be for warned when you try and move the gator the next day you wont get to far untill you drain out the CVT box and dry off the belt (I am building a snorkel kit for the breather and will post pics later (Not sure why a breather would point the same direction water would flow into!!!!! this will be an easy fix
3. Lights This sucker burns them out worse than my christmas tree. Ive recently added the Hela kit ($450) and additional lights to the top of the cab (Will add pics later) and dont even use the Gators lights anymore cant seem to keep them from burning out (Ive checked all connections and cant seem to find why other than the vibrations on the lamps)
4. When running the tracks make sure you remove your front and rear protection packages (Box will not provide full travel if you dont and will contact the tracks, when turning in the front with tracks you will also make contact with the bars
Now that this unit is almost paid off I think I might try the race machine just waiting for dealer to bring 1 in to view

Wow! What a beasting machine! Way cool! I love the tracks! I hate to imagine what they cost... I'm guessing at least a grand for each of the four.
I'm a brand new, first time owner, of a UTV. What do you mean that you need to drain out the CVT box? Are you referring to that intake pipe as being that big black pipe pointing forward on the driver side under the box? I was wondering what the heck that was... I'm such a rookie...
