With only light rain, the one speed wiper is pretty annoying, so I decided to add a variable speed control. I wanted to place it next to the wiper switch, so I had to move all switches one step to the right. For better access, I unscrewed the whole metal thing attached to the roof. I popped out the square metal thing, where the switch for a beacon light is suppose to sit and moved the switches to the right. If you ever need to move, or take out these switches, remember to remove the black part first, as the gray part cant be released, with the black part in place.
I welded a bracket on the square thing I popped out:

I drilled the holes needed, painted it black, attached it, and put the whole thing back on the machine, where I finished the wire work and added the timer:

Everything in place:

Now I can choose to start the wiper as before, or I can start it by turning the new control and vary the speed between 2 to 20 times per minute.
Just thought I would share.
