WWOEII; I called the local dealership on the part # you gave me ( M159696 ). They sated it came back as a speed limiter cover. Do you are anyone have a good part # for this item??

Sorry about that WWOEII. The dealership just called me back and said he must have fat fingered a key. That is the right part #. Thanks for the info

:FX: for it to fit ok. The old one has a tab under the steering wheel that allow it to pop right off. If ur part number on that cap is M142219 you should be ok. :lurk:

from what i see on part catalog m142219 is a the factory orginal on 825i
