Anyone having this trouble ? I have a 2011 825i 55hrs it will heat up when i am checking fence rows going 8-10 mph. Peg out the gauge then cool down to the middle of the gauge, does this nonstop. I never noticed it doing this before.

sounds like the thermostat is sticking, also check your coolant level.

The cooling fan should kick on when the 4th bar comes up on the display, Does it do this? :Cnfsd:

I figured it out the plug with the 4 red wires was coming loose, I would plug it back in, it would work its way out sideways every time. I wrapped a zip tie around fuse box through plug to hold it in . Works just fine. To note this was the first time I had used it since the jd shop fixed the driveshaft growling noise. I think the broke my plug somehow, the plug has a clip on it, but the fuse box didn't.

Cool that you found the problem, but it sucks that the Dealership might have broken the little clip on the fusebox and didn't say anything...if they did break it, I am pretty sure the mechanic knew it...I hope it was just a mistake and they didn't know, but when you plug in any connector like that, you always make sure the latch clip catches so it doesn't come out...prying up on them to get them off will break them in a heartbeat if you pry too hard on it...that's probably what happened...
If you can keep the plug connected without alot of trouble, then I would say let it go...if it becomes a pain in the ass to stay connected, then tell the dealership what happened...
