Hehehe...the leopard dash cover is one of those little $2.00 velour blanket thingies you can buy at most discount stores...I put it up there to plug the air from coming in under the windshield the other day when it was really windy...then I left it there because it looked goofy...

The back-up camera screen looks washed out in the pic, but it's as clear as a bell...and, at night-time, it makes it look like daytime...I love the thing already...one of my favorite mods I've done to it...

Nice additions to your ride Regulator! I'm jealous of that sterio system and back up cam. That's on my "wish list". Did you tap another hole in your rollbar to get all those wires through for the sterio or did you manage to get them snaked into that one hole by the roof clip on the passenger side?

I had already run a wire on the outside of the rollbar using that rippled plastic sheathing stuff that is split where you have to shove the wire inside it while prying it open with a screwdriver or blade of some sort....I ran it from my Battery up to the Spot Lights I have on top of the cab...I did that instead of running the wires through the rollbar knowing that I'd be putting more wires up there....so the wires for the stereo and the new switch bank were just run inside that plastic sheathing stuff that is basically zip tied to the rollbar instead of running through it...I know that isn't as clean as going through the roll bar, but I'm not a huge fan of doing that anyway...from dealing with wires that have shorted out inside motorcycle frames over the years, I am all for having them where you can get to them easily now...that plastic sheathing is big enough where I could run at least 5 wires through it with no problems, and that stuff keeps them nice and tidy, without having to worry about the wires chaffling at the holes where they come out of the rollbar in case the rubber grommett decides to play hide and seek....

So basically I'm saying that I was partially lazy in doing them the easy way, but with past experience to justify me doing it that way....I'm always scared of a little piece of slag stuck inside a roolbar or frame that would be just enough to chafe a little hole in a hot wire...it may never happen, but if it does, then it sucks royally...

That stereo is one of those aftermarket units that I bought off of Side by Side Sports for $399...here's the link.. http://www.sidebysidesports.com/utvstcolo.html ..then I bought the rollbar mount for another $40 or so....it sure beats the almost $1000 price tag Deere wanted to install one of their units!!!...it's a 200 Watt Pioneer stereo, with all the goodies, plus the speakers are really good in it too...they are marine grade so moisture won't affect them...

The back-up camera was $329 at my local Deere dealership...I thought it was a decent price on that, and I am super happy with it...it's got a wide angle to it in the mode I am using, plus it really does make it look like daytime when it's dark out...you can add extra camera's and do a split screen (or up to 4 screens I think..) if you wanted to do that...the pics I took make the screen look washed out, but it isn't like that...it's as crystal clear and colorful as it should be...It helps me keep an eye out for my dogs in the bed to make sure I haven't thrown one out on a bump or hard turn....it's even got a DVD jack in the front in case you go parking in the Gator and want to watch a movie with a portable DVD player...yippee, huh???

If you want to know anything else about my upgrades, just ask...be glad to help...

Larry, you have some super nice mods there! I also have the camera system and really love it. I installed cameras front and rear, neatest thing I have seen. I can drive down the back roads, total darkness, no moon, no lights and see without a problem!

Now for the "Tiger's Tail" on the dash! OMG! You have one sweet machine but will be remembered for that! It looks great and I would keep it there!!
:hehe:

Well, I have been remembered for alot worse than that, so I guess I'll take the leopard print blanket on the dash as a good thing!!!...hahaha!!!

I never even thought about using the camera system to see in front of me...that's actually a pretty cool idea for sure...It's a blast adding goodies to these Gators...I'm about at my limit for now...I am getting precariously close to getting stupid with it....don't want to cross that line!!!...hahaha!!!
