Year Model - Utility Vehicles - John deere - by Serial Number

I am a new member and joined to learn more about gators. I have an 4x2 model and 5 of the 6x4 model Gators and was looking for info on serial number to year model and was seeing members being directed to their dealer to get the info. After a long search I found the info on JD's web site under Groundscare and have posted the link to the PDF file below. I hope it gets you there. This covers all UTV's and helped me alot.

Welcome to the forum ! Your first post is great and I am sure that this information will be very helpful to many people. Just curious now, thats what happens when ya get old, may I ask what part of the world ya in and what you do with six Gators?

Dan, I am in Suffolk Virginia and have a large wooded lot (25 ac) that I am clearing for a few horses so I got the 4x2 and it is a workhorse and I use it every day... then I found a deal on 5 of the 6x4 units in need of alot of work so I got them and hope to get three or four good ones out of it with time/work/money.
