got my heater installed today felt kinda wierd though being 60 out and doing a heater.. but everything went well, clear instructions and everything was in the kit plus didn't have to give up the glove box, seems like a well built kit  wife wont get cold in the winter now driving around the lake 998

That looks like a pretty stout unit, most certainly....I'm glad I live in an area where we don't get those long periods of sub-zero Artic weather like you all do, so I don't really have the need for a heater in my cab...it puts out enough heat to keep it warm enough to ride around in a long sleeve shirt and be real comfy...since i've been installing the DynaMat material, I'm curious as to whether or not it will prevent that excess heat to get into the cab in the Winter, or if it will help to insulate and retain what heat that is already there...
I have a little 12 volt $69.00 heater I bought off of one of the UTV Stores online, that is basically just a little ceramic heater with a 2 speed fan in it...no water lines go to it...I never used it last winter at all...I figured if my windshield ever got froze up, or if I needed a bit more heat, I could just set it up on the dash to un-freeze the windshield...I do have a 6 inch "trucker fan" that I am going to mount up at the roof over-top the rear sliding window facing forward...I will use it in case the windshield fogs up...I'll wait until next Fall to mount it as I won't be needing it with the doors off most of the time now...
IF I had to get a heater, I would definitely get one like yours because I never liked the idea of putting the heater in the glovebox like Deere offers...I could never figure that out...why couldn't they offer one that is an under dash mount like the one you have???....I guess that's why I am an old, beat up poor trucker and not a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Interior Design making the big money!!!..

Very clean looking heater, nice install. I really like the idea of not giving up the glove box. Besides, this one is more centeral allowing flow of heat equally left and right.

Larry in MD:"Warm Wife equals Happy Wife"......... thats a very true comment there, plus thats the point that she liked the most about getting rid of the 4wheeler and getting a utv,and its 1/2 the price of the JD one, next trip to the parts store ill pickup the elbow i need to get the defroster vent hooked up possibly tomorrow already spent 2 days working on the gator time to do some house stuff

Cool on the defroster...that would be pretty importatnt to me if I ever installed a heater...
Here's another little gem..."A bad day working on the Gator is still better than a good day working on the house"...:Ysnd:....the only problem would be that it might negate the "happy wife" thing...:Nnd:

Thanks,Bill

the heater lines run along the center council then infront of the pass seat out the back where they T into the radatior hoses on the drivers side of the motor theres a gate valve on the feed to shut it off when its warm out

Love the "Prossum" cab with all the options. If I had to start over I would have gone that way vs John Deere. The complete cab is nothing less then an outstanding design. If I find someone local that want to purchase my John Deere roof, windshield, mirrors and rear screen I might just consider going with the complete cab? I would also want the wipers and maybe the heater where I travel sometimes into colder areas.
