Wonder if Deere would take my 825 in on trade and what would it be worth?

I checked with the dealer I bought my 825i from and they don't do trades. Im not sure if they are all like that but JD delaers are not like a conventional atv dealership.

We sell around 200 John Deere Gators a year and that would not be possible if we did not take trades. Your 825i Gator is very desirable and would turn over quick if it is not priced out of sight.

+1 As a dealer we love used gators. They will always sell as long as the price is right.

Do the dealers make trades with others brands too? I have 2 Arctic Cat and 1 Yamaha to trade for a side by side.... They are like new

I had two 2008 atvs when i decided last december to get me a side by side. i was able to sell one of the atvs quickly but the other one not so. i took it to my dealer and traded it in on my 825i. i would have been better off selling it but overall i'm happy. the key was in TN you don't have to pay sales tax on the trade in allowance so that evened it out some to where i didn't feel like i was taking so much of a loss.

Majority of my life I have only owned John Deere equipment, mowers to tractors and gators. My local dealer has always taken my used equipment in trade. If I must say, I think I actually make out better then selling the equipment. I tend to keep everything in great order, even to the point of waxing everything! Pays off.

I have wanted the RSX850 all along. My dealer talked me into the 825i and is going to take it back on trade for the RSX850. Now that I have the 825 I'm not going to trade it back in. It is handier then a pocket on a shirt. Now I'm trying to figure out how to have both. Maybe corn and wheat prices will help me but I need other equipment more than I need a toy. However maybe them Honda 4 wheelers will have to go.
