Just signed up after buying my XUV550 about a month ago. It is a great machine and so much quicker than my mule.

Welcome to the forum. I drove a 550 before deciding on the 825i. They're very nice machines and are light years ahead of the mule in terms of power and comfort.

Noticed the other day that my 550 starts in gear, very unusual for mechanical things these days, yes you have to have your foot on the brake for it to start but it is easy to take it off the brake and hit the gas not realizing it is in gear. Tried another at the dealership and it did it too. The mechanics at the dealer did not even know it would do that. How about the 625i and the others, do they do that? Just curious. Thanks and have a great day.:hsu:

Good idea but I think they got snatched. There have been several instances the last few weeks of a male and female in vans trying to grab kids around a couple towns. It is a bad deal. Thing about all this is if they do catch someone good for it nothing will happen to them the way the court system is now and even if if does the prison will turn them loose again for good behavior as they are all rejuvenated. Just a swinging door anymore and something needs to be done. Someone needs to take the bull by the horns.
