Can the JD CDI part number R91234 be replaced with Kawasakaii 2119-2115 ??? Anyone?

Have a AMT600 Gator 1994era and the CDI modual has gone.... JDR91234 is discontinued.. looking for replacement... Engine is the Kawasakaii KF82??
