What should be done to have a 12 inch ground clearance on the new rsx 850.
Crank them shocks tighter! It might not be the "proper" way to do it (it will change your preload and all that technical suspension yada yada), but it works if you absolutely need the ground clearance.

.......be careful cranking the shocks to much. It will ride like garbage. Im sure someone will make an aftermarket lift eventually.

One of the others on this forum built a rear lift for his 825i, do a search and you can find it. Another possibility would be to install spring spacers to give a little more lift. The spring spacers would change the ride more though, it would be comparable to stiffening the shocks.
I was/am gonna copy the rear lift brackets, just haven't gotten to that item on my list yet.
Just a couple ideas.

Not to hijack this RSX 850 thread, but along the same lines....does anyone know of a lift kit for the 825i's yet???....I want to gain a couple inches in the front if possible...I thought about trying to figure it out and build my own, but time and talent are not on my side here...
Thanx in advance if someone has some info for me....
