Hi
We are looking at buying a ts 4x2.
If I put a plow on it to push snow off sidewalks will this work or am I asking too much?
Should I just buy a 4x4 gator?
I'm planning on using chains and the upgrades in the front suspension for plowing.
Any advise would be great with this purchase.
Thanks

My own thoughts, go 4x4
Is the differential of the TS lockable?
Otherwise I agree jergeod. Without much weight you are not going to get much traction. Long ago I had a tractor with only rear wheel drive. When I upgraded to one with 4wd I was amazed what the addition of 4wd did for it's perfomance. I have a moderately steep, paved hill to get up in one area and my golf cart had a hard time making it up the hill in some conditions was tough, and same for the tractor when 4wd is not engaged.
Basically over the years I have become a firm believer in 4wd to the point that if there is a choice I no longer even consider getting anything without 4wd. Even my lawn mowing tractors all have 4wd. It's not needed 99% of the time but when it is needed it pays for itself in saved time (wasted time getting mower unstuck).
