Petcock valve

I drained the oil from my 2000 trail gator (6x4) for the first time. I loosened the petcock valve too much and now I cannot get it to go back in. I have tried to manually screw it back but am unable to. Any suggestions or am I looking at buying a new part?

Buy a new one, Don't take the chance of it leaking if you do happen to get it closed and toast your motor.:mad:
