Shifting problems

Got the wife and 850i back in October 11. It got where it was hard to shift. Called the dealer they came and picked it up and stated they put a new clutch in it. Everything working good now.

Did they state what caused the problem ? Was it warranty work ? Glad it all good now.

It was warranty work. They didn't state what caused the problem. This machine has been babied. I got it for my wife who had foot surgery which did not turn out well. She is an outsdoor person so I got her this machine. It has not been in the mud or ran hard. It is hard for me to understand why the clutch would give problems
