Hi Everyone- Pleasure to be here. I have a question...recently purchased a 2008 620i and want to put new wheels and tires on her! The current setup was the factory setup 12 inch rims and I'd lilke to put on the John Deere 14 inch silver alloys with Maxxis 27-11-14 on the Rear and 27-9-14 on the fronts . My dealer is telling me that might not work??? Anyone tried this and if not any thoughts on this set-up.
Thank you so much for any advice you can give.

What is the bolt pattern with your current steel rims? I don't know about back in 2008 but right now I think Deere has both 4 and 5 bolt wheel patterns and I've only seen the 14" aluminums in the 5 bolt.

Hi Dane- Thanks so much for the reply. My pattern is 5 bolts....1782
Hope this helps!

Do you have a source for the Deere aluminum rims you want? New from Deere that's a lot of money for a five year old vehicle. If you have some on hand or know someone getting rid of a set I'd consider it but otherwise I'd not sink 20% of the vehicle's value into rims.
Also before considering new tires I'd look closely at the clearances you have now. Turn the steering to full lock in both directions and make sure you have room for the tires. Don't forget to allow for suspension travel.
