http://www.warn.com/atv/lights/W200XT_HID_Spot_Beams.shtml I have two of these warn lights on the roof and they give you clear light out to at least 1000'

Does the John Deere Long Range light kit plug in to the wiring to the headlights and work off the same switch or does it have a different switch? Also, how much more light do they give you?

jdcellar, I installed them on mine about a month ago, I have the deluxe cab frame so the wiring harness is included. It plugged in separately and has it's own switch. They seem to be better than the stock headlights, although I have to take some time and get them aimed properly. It just wants to be severe winter here and I don't have a heated shop so it will have to wait until it gets a lot warmer for me to adjust them. I thought there was a thread the other day where one of our members installed a set of Warn lights ( I don't recall if they were LEDs or HIDs, or halogens).

I installed Rigid brand LED lights on my Gator. It's a 550 so I could not take the power consumption of old fashioned lights but I could not be happier with the LED's and I'm usually out in the forest, logged areas and field trails in the middle of the night hunting and really need good lighting to pick out the trail or a safe route. The wiring harness that came with the lights made installation easy and it was less expensive than the JD light kit. They (Rigid) does not make a plug & play kit though if you are looking for a really easy install.
