The Solar Gator will be used for maintenance of Lakewood Park (including beach grooming) and also to provide staff with a vehicle to service Lakewood Park South during special events and regular maintenance. The second vehicle, the Solar Powered Golf Cart, will be used for additional maintenance requirements at the parks; as well it will be used for other events that previously required renting or leasing, such as the Corn Festival, Christmas in Tecumseh, BIA Art of Eating and other numerous Town-related functions.

Recently, Unconquered Sun Solar Technologies Inc. introduced to the electric vehicle market market an Electric Vehicle Solar Roof which allows an EV to recharge during operation, this reduces/ eliminates energy cost by minimizing the need to plug in to re-power. Unconquered Sun has since won contracts to build Solar Powered Electric Vehicles for numerous golf courses, the City of Toronto and N.A.S.A.

In attendance to receive was The Mayor of Tecumseh, Deputy Mayor of Tecumseh and Tecumseh Town Council.

This sounds cool!Vehicle with solar roof, no need to plug to charge. How come other manufacturers doesn't realize this is possible? Instead of wasting lands for solar parks like VW Chattanooga Solar Park (http://www.cardealexpert.com/news-information/auto-news/vw-chattanooga-solar-park/) in Tenn., use the roof of the car itself instead. :Ysnd:
