Rear wheel axle seal leaking, has anyone change this seal? If so, how hard is this job?

I just looked at mine and it shouldn't be a big deal, it is like a car or truck. Pull the axle and it should be right there, replace the bearing while you are right there, something caused the seal to leak they normally don't go bad on their own. After unbolting the axle it should just slide out and the seal and brg will be in the end of the tube, you will need some sort of puller to get them out. If you have the parts in hand I wouldn't think it should take more than and hour to do one side.

I replaced the seal and man it is a big job. You have to drop the whole rear end because the seal is in the gear box and not at the end of the axle. Safety is key factor because you seperate the frame from the axle.

Oh man, never thought they would put it in that far. Nothing is ever easy on these things is it? Sorry for the bad advise.
