Will there be much of a change in top end speed and torque using these larger then stock tires?will you need new rims or will the stock ones work?

They are Highlifter Outlaw 2s 29.5 x 9.5 x 14 and 29.5 x 11 x 14. I have seen 30" silverbacks on aftermarket wheels and I have seen 30" Intercos on stock rims. These will be going on stock rims. Might change top end, IDK, but torque never changes.

Did you have to lift the gator at all to accommodate these. I am looking to gte a little more ground clearance out of my machine, but was wondering if I could fit 28 or 29 inch tires on mine without any rubbing issues?

Well, I always name my toys and also associate that with the build. For that I am going to let the ppl of the forum world help me figure out what to call this ride.
This is my John Deere Gator RSX 850i Sport Green and Yellow. As it sits I have the factory roof, stereo, front non scratch tilt windsheild, rear sheild, stock wheels and tires for the trails, and 29.5 Highlifter Outlaw 2s on stock rims for at home. More mods to come and ride reports to come also.
I bought mine at Stateline Turf and Tractor and they gave me a darn good deal. They have a few in stock and are great ppl to deal with and have some of the best prices. I highly suggest John and Josh Irvin at STT.
So without further a due..........

Wow that looks mean. How is the power with those 29.5?

Did you have to put any type of lift and do they rub at all? I was thinking about the maxxis bighorn 2.0 28x11x14 and 28x9x14 for mine. I would want to ride with this setup on rocky mountaneous trails because of the added ground clearance. How much is the ground clearance on your machine now?

I just put a set of Mudlites on my quad and I thought those were chunky! but those are wow!

Power is just fine with the 29.5s so far. I have not given it a good long day ride yet, but I am hoping Sunday I can. This is all on stock suspension, no lift and I did not adjust the preload on the shocks. All I did was unbolt stock wheels and tires and bolted up these stock wheels with laws. I will check on the ground clearance and get that posted here.
On another note, a person I know around here has 30" Intercos on his RSX, he had 5 ppl with guns and all there duck hunting decoys and gear loaded on his RSX and the only thing that happened was the rear driver side tire got into the plastic behind/below the driver seat. He was also in water up to the bottom of the seat and it was still going. I will say he had it overloaded. I will be doing some test riding and if if starts to be a problem, I will adjust my preload, but so far so good.
