WTB Kolpin Grips, model 20085

Kolpin as upgraded thier ratchet style grips, no longer producing the model 20085. I have about 5 sets of these grips and in need of at least one more set. I want this older style so all are interchangeable.

If you have a set or even two that you want to sell please let me know.

there is a place in town that sells these I'll check next time I'm there to see if they still have any left.

Ratrod: I very much appreciate your help. Please be sure to tell them model 20085, they will know the difference. If they have them I will take two sets just to be safe. Please keep me update.

I thought for sure someone would have a set or two that would want to update them. Maybe there is still a chance.

Just got back from metal detecting at the ocean, waves were high and kicked my old butt for about 5 hours straight. I was thinking I was going to have a pood day with only clad coins found, then all of a sudden I got that low tone that tells me there is a good chance of gold. Found a very nice (heavy) cold chain with a long (1 1/2") by 5/16th wide and nealry quarter inch thick gold bar attached. Made my day! Wife was happy too. Now for a several days of rest then out again.

Stopped by the local sporting goods place today to see if they had any of those clamps and they didn't. It was all the new stuff.

There has to be someone that wants to upgrade or has no further use for thier Kolpin model 20085 ratchet grips. If you have only 1 set great, if 2 sets all the better. Please ring in and let me know what you have!! :pondrn:

Traildog: Thank you very much for taking the effort to send me the above link. As soon as I saw the link I telephoned them, like all others that I have called, thier site it not updated.:pondrn: They said Kolpin has discontinued that model. Worth a try anyways.

OK gents I finally found at the very least one set of the Kolpin ratchet grips model 20085 or John Deere part number LP14883.

My old dealership in Maine sent a message saying "Littles John Deere Dealership" in Perkiomenville, Pa had them. Called and behold they found one set but thought they had another. I told them to ship what they have, hoping for two more sets!
