Hi Guys,
in the UK we have a non homologated version which according to JD will do 50kph (32mph) and a homologated version that is restricted to 40kph (25mph).
do you have these restrictions is the US?
How fast does your XUV855D go and how do you attain that?
Are there any aftermarket kits etc?

Hi my 855d goes about 32 mph but there is a boost chip to get 15% out of your diesel

EVO-Tech Performance chip w/ REMOTE John Deere Gator 855d XUV - Authentic Magnum this product is available through a company called
Magnum tuning

Someone try the chip and report back. I read somewhere that the magnum products where not that great. I do know from experience with a Duramax...chipped properly there is considerable upside, with no down side that I have experience after 223K+ miles.

There really isnt anything on the 855 to "chip" it an all mechanical diesel I thought. Maybe crank up the pump or add a turbo and I doubt it will go much faster doing that because the clutch limits the speed.

I wouldn't be after speed, but adding some quickness...more snap....to acceleration would be nice.
