Hello Everyone,

I purchased a really clean 2003 HPX 4x4 Gator and the electric motor specifically on the hydraulic pump for the bed lift was removed at some point in time. The pump is still there, but the electric motor is gone. I asked my local Deere dealer if I could just order the motor and they said that the whole pump assembly had to be purchased in order to get the motor which was $900 and some change.

I know there should be a replacement for the motor itself somewhere at a different supplier and was wondering if any of you could give me some insight.

I would sure appreciate the assistance and I have enjoyed reading up on a lot of the information posted by so many of you.

Thanks in advance for your reply and information.

I would look at almost any 12vdc hydraulic power pack.

Surplus Center is one place I check for things like that. It looks like they have several complete packs for less than $300. http://www.surpluscenter.com/sort.asp?catname=hydraulic&keyword=HPPD

Northern Tool also has quite a few to choose from though they appear more expensive. Still half the price of the motor from the JD dealer though.

I appreciate the response.

Does anyone know the specifics of the OEM motor/pump such as:

Amperage Draw
Gallons Per Minute
PSI

Thanks again,
