Last night changed my Front Coils from 11" 250lbs to 12" 275lbs. It now sits at 13.5" under the front skid plate. Will be doing the rears tonight going from 10.5" 400lb Springs to 525lb 12" Springs.

They are from Poly Performance (Link (http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/Eibach-12-Long-2.5-ID-Coil-Springs-p-106.html)) It is a very easy job as long as you have the Fox Shocks... Will try and get pictures when I do the rear... It was dark and only had the tractor lights...

The rear springs are way to soft I think even with the collar fully tightened it still sags about half way empty...

Why won't the standard shocks support new springs?

They might support new springs I just do not know because when I took mine off I did not keep them to look at... What you will need to look at is if there is a way to remove the spring and if the spring is a 2.5" inside diameter or if it is smaller will the spring retainers be wide enough. I also believe you will need a spring compressor do to the lack of adjustment available. So it could work I just do not know and do not have a way to check... Though if you can swing it the Fox's are a great upgrade.

my collar is fully tightened , i got original shocks on the back and will switch the coils to 550lbs ,,, i got a spare front shock and i tried to take of the coil ,, no proplem , just take a tie down strap and compress the sring till you can slide the collar off of the shock shift then release the tie down slowly

I have all the tools needed to replace the springs i just want to make sure I purchase the correct ones. I will have to buy them from the internet so trial and error could be costly and time consuming. Does anyone have the spring measurements for the standard shocks front and rear? If so could you post them? I plan on doing this mod very soon. I would love the extra ground clearance and reduced sagging of the springs. Had considered the Fox shocks for quite some time but if I can stiffen the springs on the standard shock for less $$...

So, where is the best place to get the rear springs? I am about to purchase the JD heavy duty front shocks.
