Anyone running 27 or 28" Maxxis Bighorns? If so, do they fit alright? Impressions of the tires? I have the stock 25" Anclas on my RSX and am thinking about going larger (honestly, I feel I have TOO much tork with the 25's!!). Any feedback would be appreciated.

Yes, I have the Big Horns that JD put on, I believe they are 27's. I run Big Horns on all my ATV's/ UTV's. They are unbelievable tires, plus I have NEVER had a flat with them. I ride my ATV all over the NV desert and never gotten a flat. I took the Gator up into the Big Horn Mountains in WY and they did GREAT!

i had the 27s on my 825i. a limb stuck in the side of one and ruined it. one thing i found out is they are not cheap to replace. a lot of places don't sell the 27s and my local tire dealer said JD had the rights to them. not sure if that's true but JD was the cheapest to replace it at 200 bucks. of course i just traded it for my 850i and let them replace the tire. lol

The RSX runs a 26x8-R14 front and 26x10-R14 rear for the Big Horn 2's on aluminum rims. The 825i and 855D Gators run 27x9-R14 and 27x11-R14 Big Horn 2's on their aluminum rims.

I want to put 27 inch on my rsx850i. Looks like there is plenty clearance.

I have put 28" bighorn 2.0 on my with no rubbing issues whatsoever on my 850. If they made 29 or 30" I would have probably bought those. Don't go with 27" bighorns they are only 4 ply whereas all other bighorn 2.0 are 6 ply. When I had 825i I sliced one of the 27" and popped another.

You will only get 1/2 inch more ground clearance by putting 27" on the 850i as it comes with 26". Maxxis does not even advertise the 27" anymore. You have to really search for them on internet to find them or buy direct from JD dealer or Can-Am dealer.

Aren't the 2.0s lighter thus less ply?

Have 50 miles on my new STI Black Diamond 27" radials. Ride quality is improved tremendously over the stock 25" ANCLAS. impressed by radials so far.
Is anybody running the Interco Swamplite's http://www.intercotire.com/tires.php?id=30&g=3
I am thinking of purchasing the 28-9-14's for the front and the 28-11-14's for the back.
Any thoughts?

I put on 28/9/14 28/11/14 mega mayhems on my rsx. No issues at all. Takes a little power away but they are great.
