rsx 850i parking brake PIP

hey all, just FYI, my JD dealer called this morning and said they had received a PIP on my 850i in reference to the parking brake and wanted to come pick up my machine and take care of the issue. so of course i let them and they have it now.

they said apparently the PIP said the parking brake might not disengage and they didn't want me to be stuck "out in the woods".

just thought i would pass it on.

they brought my machine back by noon. can't beat that service.

A pin on my parking brake broke or came loose and they fixed mine, but had to take it in.

my pin broke 3 times so hopefully that is the pip, i check thanks

I just had my parking brake pedal and shifter replaced. Different metal I believe. they look identical.

My parking brake pedal engages or locks down but now does not hold my machine. Where is this pin you all mentioned? (I'm not a mechanic if you haven't guessed)
