Front / Rear Preload Adjustment on Base or Trail RSX

Getting some new 27" tires put on and was thinking about adding more preload to gain some additional clearance. After looking at my machine compared to some stock photos, it appears that my preload as it came from the dealership is increased more than most. Could anyone give me a rough idea as to how much preload (as measured from top of shock to the lock nuts) their machine came with from the dealership?

Not sure about what the dealer may or may not have done, but the factory setting is "in the middle" of the two rings that limit the adjustment nuts. That would be how the company photos were taken.
