Can someone confirm if the new 2013 855D's come with greaseless fittings. In reading the operations manual it states "early production machines are equipped with grease fittings on pivot points. Later production machines will use bonded no-grease fitting joints."
As far as I can tell I only see grease fittings on the front and rear axle shafts.
On a separate note I picked up the new 2013 855D power steering unit. This machine seems really well put together and the steering is effortless. Looks like Deere did a nice job on this.
I now have one Gator pet peeve. Would it be to much trouble to ask for a metal serial number plate. I've lost the serial number sticker, yes it's a plastic sticker, on two of the three units I currently have. I'm going to make up my own plates, however if anyone from Deere is monitoring this form, spend the 14 cents it would cost and give us a real serial number plate.
