2004 hpx random dies

I sure hope i am doing this right. First time posting on a(any) fourm.

Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated
My friend owns a 2004 Gator uses it on her horse ranch, I am the one that fixes whatever needs fixin.
In the last couple of weeks The staff will use the gator shut it off than will not restart, till it gets a boost.
this only happens randomly not every time, most time restarts just fine.
Volt meter reads 12.5 when not running and 13.5-14 when running.

I plan to check and clean all fuses.

I am looking for help to try and resolve why this is happening, please point me in the right direction

How old is the battery? Is it making any sounds? Do you hear the click of the starter solenoid?

I first suspect an old weak battery or poor corroded cable connections. Battery voltage at rest does not mean much. Even an old worn out batter can show good votage at rest but not provide under load. Most auto parts stores have a tester that will test the battery under load and will test it for free.
