Just opened up my AMT 600 transaxle to check its condition, as it made a silent snapping sound when idling, suspected the bearings of the input shaft to be finished, but ended up replacing them all. All the washers, axles were worn below given tolerance limits (especially in the diff), but it still works nice and should be OK for years to come with low mileage. Purchasing all the parts here locally in Finland would cost a zillion EURos..
So here are the ball bearing types:
- input shaft: 1pce 6203 (JD part M800496), 1pce 6204 (JD part CH13508)
- intermediate shaft: 2 pcs 6204 (JD part CH13508)
- differential/output shaft: 2pcs 6007 (JD part CH13506)
Seal sizes:
- diff shaft: 2pcs 25/42/7 or 8mm wide(JD part R91130)
- input shaft: 1pce 25/30/7 or 8mm wide (JD part R92287)
Makes life easier to purchase these from any supplier/shop with bearings :)
IF anyone should have the needle bearing sizes/codes, would be nice to know for next time I open it up.
